We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run a news website:

• Information you give us. If you use our contact form we receive the name, email address and message you submit. If you post a listing in Sale & Jobs, we receive the contact details you choose to publish there.
• Usage information. Like most websites, our servers and analytics provider record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you.
• Cookies and similar technology. Small files stored by your browser, used for analytics and advertising as described below.

We do not ask for or store payment card details, government identity numbers, or passwords for other services.

Contact-form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for our records. Sale & Jobs listings are removed automatically after they expire. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ default retention period.

This website is a general-audience news publication and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
